Garbage in, no pipeline out
No subject line survives a dead address. The most expensive failures in outbound do not happen in the copy; they happen in the list, before a word is written.
People change jobs, companies restructure, emails die. A list built once and left alone is meaningfully wrong within a year. Bad data does not just waste sends — bounces wreck the sending reputation the inbox rules now punish, and a misfired name wrecks your credibility on the first line.
One provider is never enough
Every data vendor has coverage gaps, and they are not the same gaps. Rely on one and you inherit its blind spots — whole segments where it simply has no email, or holds the wrong one. The fix is not a better single provider. It is querying several in sequence and taking the first verified answer.
